My Pocket PC has changed my life
for the better. My wife thought it made me a
techno-nerd geekster, until I gave her her own Dell Axim for Christmas
one year.
She and her Axim quickly became inseparable! After years of loyal
service, the Axim died in the line of duty, so she now has an iPAQ 110.
I'm on my fifth PPC so far (first was an iPAQ 3650, then an
iPAQ 3670, then a Dell Axim5x, then an XV6700, and now an XV6900).
The XV6900 is actually a so-called "convergence device"; i.e., a
cell phone cum Pocket PC. For you PPC aficionados, it's
basically a Verizon-ized version of the HTC Touch.
For those new to Pocket PCs, or
thinking of getting one, these links should be helpful and informative.
They are just a sample of the dozens of sites devoted to Pocket PC news,
hardware, and software.
For Pocket PC newbies, I
suggest starting with
Windows Mobile
(Microsoft's PocketPC.com site), then branching out from there.
