Professional:

Since 1987, my practice has consisted exclusively of counseling and representing parties facing insurance and reinsurance coverage issues. My services include handling coverage disputes (litigation, arbitration, and other ADR), providing formal coverage opinions, preparing denial letters and reservations of rights, counseling on coverage issues, and drafting a wide variety of policy forms and endorsements.

2004- : Private practice as sole practitioner, concentrating on insurance and reinsurance coverage issues and disputes.

1980-2004: Private practice as associate, partner, and Of Counsel in four New York City law firms. Personal practice concentrated in medical malpractice and product liability defense (1980-1987) and insurance and reinsurance coverage issues and disputes (1987-present).

1976-1980: LT, JAGC, USNR; active duty as naval Judge Advocate. Trial Counsel, Naval Legal Service Office, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (3/77-5/78). Staff Judge Advocate, Naval Station, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (5/78-3/80). Personal decoration: U.S. Navy Commendation Medal.
